The popular islands such as Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Corfu are usually covered, with the most solid signal in and around their towns and resorts. Coverage areas can vary by plan, and signal thins on smaller or remote islands, on quiet beaches and out on the water during longer ferry crossings, so check the plan details for your islands and download maps and ferry times before you sail.
Hopping between islands
A Greek trip often means several islands and the ferries between them, and coverage is not even across the route. It is strongest around the ports and island towns and fades on the smaller islands and during longer open-water crossings, so download your ferry times, tickets and maps before each leg rather than relying on signal at sea.
How much data
